Startup 3.0
Brand.New.Day.
After an exciting 18+ months as an Industry Advisor at Microsoft for Cloud & Enterprise solutions, I am happy to share that I am going back to my roots in Consulting @ ThinkShop.in.
It has been quite a rollercoaster this past year and a half, getting Microsoft Certified on Azure (Cloud) and Dynamics 365 (CRM), joining the Microsoft Global Hackathon, interfacing with key partners and customers, and presenting Microsoft’s pov at the flagship FutureReady conference. Most exciting was the opportunity to work with top-tier clients across Banking, Financial Services & Insurance (BFSI), through their Digital Transformation initiatives.
Technology continues to shape our work and life in significant ways. And, customers all over the world are increasingly more sophisticated and well-informed. The landscape is continuously evolving, and success requires an integrated understanding of the system as a whole.
As many of you already know, I’ve always been passionate about Technology, and have loved putting it to work. Over the course of 25+ years, I’ve also had the good fortune of being employed by some of the best organizations in the country, and have learnt from my exposure to multiple functions spanning Sales, Operations, Marketing, Quality, and of course, Digital. Whether it was the high-growth phase of ICICI Prudential (growing ~10x in less than 5 years), or the quasi-startup environment at Experian and Aegon Life, or the Digital Consulting stints at Indigo and Mudra – every one of these experiences shaped my thinking, and helped me develop valuable skills that I can offer to industry.
In fact, the idea of ‘ThinkShop‘ began with a boutique web-design studio in 1999 (my first venture), way before ‘startups’ was even a word! It subsequently took the form of a Consulting firm focused on Technology solutions and Customer Engagement (2013-2017). Today, in its third avatar, ‘ThinkShop‘ sports a new identity, but continues its focus on Business Advisory, Technology & CX.
At the risk of sounding immodest, not many of us are able to operate at the intersection of Business, Technology and Customer, align domain know-how to org goals, and deliver cutting-edge solutions to business challenges, especially across the full range of startups, SMEs and large enterprises. So, if you know of an organization (or Founder) that could use such a service, do refer them to ThinkShop.in.
Seneca once observed, “One should count each day a separate life.”
‘ThinkShop‘ is my way of trying to do just that! I am really excited about the possibilities that lie ahead. And, I look forward to our paths crossing in new ways…
