Cross Roads

Papa and Pumpkin were out for a post-prandial walk, when we encountered a dead pigeon on the road. 

Naturally, papa wanted to seize the opportunity to educate Pumpkin about the pitfalls of walking on the road without paying attention to speeding cars.  But before he could get started, here’s what happened…

Pumpkin: Papa, do you know why birds get “rammed” by cars?
Papa: No, tell me why?

Pumpkin: Two reasons.

Pumpkin: #1 Birds don’t know how to cross the road. 
Pumpkin: #2 Cars are so BIG that they can’t see the bird on the road, right?

Right!
