<\/a><\/span><\/p>\nIt\u2019s a bit ironic that, when I was in the theatre, waiting for the movie to start, I couldn\u2019t help but wonder why we have an archaic law in modern India that insists on a rendition of the National Anthem before every movie?\u00a0 Every <\/em>one is forced to drop their popcorns and coke cans and stand up while the Anthem plays on the big screen.\u00a0 I\u2019m not against patriotism.\u00a0 But, what purpose does it achieve to interrupt the entertainment experience of movie goers to remind them of the National Anthem?!\u00a0 Why?<\/p>\nAs soon as the movie began, however, I forgot all about that question and, instead, immersed myself in the most \u201cwholesome\u201d entertainment I have experienced in a movie, in a long long time. It\u2019s got every thing – Drama, Comedy, Laughs, Tears, Morals, Pretty Girl, Song-and-Dance \u2026 and all this without violence and abuses and erotic scenes, mind you.\u00a0 And, the best part is that it successfully weaves Gandhian<\/em> values and ideals in the context of a local goon and his friends, in a meaningful and engaging manner!<\/p>\nGo watch this movie.\u00a0 For the music\u2026\u00a0For the hilarious comedy\u2026\u00a0For a taste of how \u201cGandhi\u201d can be relevant, even today!<\/p>\n
