My first “exposure” to photography was way back in the early ’90s, when I borrowed a friend’s K1000 to shoot a few frames. That was a time when I could only afford to read about the subject and practice it sparingly… on borrowed equipment. Today’s digital technology has permitted an almost no-cost indulgence for many of us, but I am still glad I got the opportunity to learn the fundamentals on manual gear.

In the Bag: The bag is now empty, and all my pro gear has been sold off! I currently shoot with whatever mobile phone I am using. In the past, I’ve also worked with Nikon D3300, Canon Ixus 170 (compact), Olympus E-P3 (mirrorless), Nikon D90, Nikon D50, Nikon D40, Lumix FZ35 (prosumer), Nikon F75 (film), Canon EOS 88 (film), Canon Rebel 2000 (film), Pentax Spotmatic (film) and Zenit XP12 (film).
