My first “exposure” to photography was way back in the early ’90s, when I borrowed a friend’s K1000 to shoot a few frames. That was a time when I could only afford to read about the subject and practice it sparingly… on borrowed equipment. Today’s digital technology has permitted an almost no-cost indulgence for many of us, but I am still glad I got the opportunity to learn the fundamentals on manual gear.

I try to use every opportunity possible to capture the moments I see around me. My photo gallery is available on the open-source Lychee platform, here.

In the Bag: I currently shoot with a Nikon D3300 DSLR, a compact Canon Ixus 170 and whatever mobile phone I am currently using. In the past, I’ve also worked with Olympus E-P3 (mirrorless), Nikon D90, Nikon D50, Nikon D40, Lumix FZ35 (prosumer), Nikon F75 (film), Canon EOS 88 (film), Canon Rebel 2000 (film), Pentax Spotmatic (film) and Zenit XP12 (film).
